This site exists because most composite decking information online is written by people selling boards, not by people making them. I make them.
Who writes this
I’m Maggie Zhao. I’ve spent 15 years on the production side of WPC — running extrusion lines, checking raw material batches and shipping containers to more than 30 countries.

Everything on this site comes from that side of the desk: what a spec sheet actually means, why two quotes for the same board differ by 30%, and what to check before a container leaves the factory.
What I work with
The factory behind this site runs 42 extrusion lines and ships over 2 million m² a year, to more than 30 export markets, with a production lead time of 25–30 days. I work between raw material batches on one end and loading plans on the other. That is why the numbers on this site come as ranges with the reason attached, rather than a single figure and a sales pitch.

How I write it
If a number is an estimate, I say so. If I haven’t tested a product myself, I don’t write the comparison. Where I don’t know — a retail price in a market I haven’t shipped to recently, a product line I’ve never handled — the page says that too.

Everything here is written for buyers: contractors, installers, small distributors and importers who need the spec, the cost and the failure points, in that order.
Where to go next
